The Most Energy Efficient Room Lighting Designs

Winners to be announced in April/May 2017…..

Preparations for the 2017 Greenwire Star™ Lighting Awards are well underway. We are currently busy searching the Australian Lighting Market to identify high performance luminaries that represent the best in their class for energy efficiency.

“A luminarie may have a high lumens/watt, but this does not tell us if its illumination is efficient when placed in a room. This award aims to identify luminaries that can effectively throw light around a room to achieve target brightness, uniformity & glare to AS1680, for the least amount of total room power consumption.”

Whilst we already have a large collection of luminaries undergoing analysis, we invite you to nominate a luminaire that you think might win the award. Just send us a quick email nominating the luminaire brand & model  – SUBMISSIONS CLOSE – COB 30 April 2017.

4. Indoor Carpark – LED Enclosed batten 2.4m AFL
5. Warehouse – LED suspended High Bay 9m AFL
